At this time we do NOT offer a waiting list. All kittens once posted as available can be reserved via first-come-first-serve. This means: once the guardian application is reviewed and the deposit is sent the kitten gets officially reserved to whoever was FIRST to do so. Deposits not accepted for kittens on HOLD or UNDER OBSERVATION.
This is a form we ask for you to fill out prior to reserving a kitten so we can ensure they go to a good home and learn more about you!
Our reservation process works via first-come-first-serve. All kittens require a $500 deposit to be fully reserved. The deposit goes towards the kitten's final price. We do allow 24-hour HOLDs to ensure the whole family is on board to add a new furry family member 🐾, but if the deposit is not received within the 24 hours the kitten is once again available for others to reserve. We do not accept deposits until kittens are at least 6 weeks of age. Deposits are NOT transferrable to other kittens.
Adoption fees for our kittens currently start at $3000, and go up to $4000. The price varies per color, gender, size, standard, and ancestry such as champion lines. Occasionally we will do discounted prices for holidays, or older kitties.
All of our cats start off with DNA tests 🧪! DNA testing helps us eliminate any risk of genetic diseases. Once our cats reach over a year old we will preform Echocardiogram (HCM) screenings. We will also preform OFA Hip Dysplasia evaluations, since it is frequently seen in mainecoons due to their size! All of our solid white cats also receive a hearing test to eliminate deafness. White cats (especially with blue eyes) are known to be at risk to be deaf.
Our cats currently free-feed on Wellness Core Adult Dry food. This means they have bowls of this always available to chomp on! Along with kibble, our cats once a day receive a plate of our homemade raw food, topped off with beef broth. We believe raw food greatly benefits proper mainecoon development. Freeze-dried treats and toppers are also in rotation sprinkled onto their food. For the pickier kitties, we mix the raw mix with Weruva BFF It's Gravy Baby Adult Wet Cat Food.
Our kittens are free-fed Wellness Core Kitten Dry Food. Kittens too receive their daily plate of our raw meat diet, topped off with beef broth. For younger kitties we also add goats milk onto their daily plate! For picky babies we mix their raw meat with either Tiki-Cat Kitten Wet Food, or Weruva (Shredded) Chicken Kitten Wet Food.
We will give the first two sets of immunizations, which includes Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and Chlamydia at 9 and 12 weeks. All kittens are also de-wormed prior to going to their new fur-ever home 🐈🏠!
Kittens can go to their new home between 12-15 weeks. All litters vary due to us ensuring the kittens are fully weaned, litter trained, de-wormed, vaccinated, and vet checked! We also groom each kitten and trim their claws.
